For: CaDansa festival, 2012 - 2018

Every year I come up with a new theme and illustrative identity for CaDansa; I make promotion material, digital design, t-shirts, decoration, merchandise and all kinds of things to add to the visual atmosphere.

CaDansa is a beautiful and intimate international Bal Folk Festival in the Netherlands; four days filled with dance workshops, activities and live music.

ABOUT

I am Maartje (1992), a designer that still believes art can change the world. I work at De Havenloods in a beautiful, sustainable shared studio that makes me happy to cycle to work every day.

I'm a Graphic Design Bachelor (ArtEZ Arnhem, 2014) and specialised in Social Design (No Academy, 2016).

My ideals are at the heart of what I do: I am always approaching my freelance and self-initiated projects from a social, queer, feminist and sustainable viewpoint. I love to conspire with my clients about creative ways in which the project can help improve the world and be truly inclusive.
